YNDC Launches Two-County SNAP Double-Up Program

This
farmers market season YNDC launched a two-county SNAP Double-Up Program as part
of the Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentive program, with coordination of six
farmers markets and retail locations across Youngstown and Warren.

Participating locations include the Idora Neighborhood Farmers Market, the
Northside Farmers Market, the Warren Farmers market, the Howland Farmers
market, the St. Elizabeth Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Market, and the
Lake-to-River Food Cooperative. SNAP customers at these locations will be able
to receive up to $30 in matching funds to purchase fresh produce.
