YSU Students Battle Blight in Wick Park Neighborhood Adjacent to Campus

On Saturday, August 29th, more than 70 YSU students and volunteers cleaned up and secured 19 vacant properties in the Wick Park neighborhood adjacent to YSU's campus.

The clean up was organized by YSUscape in collaboration with YSU's Center for Urban and Regional Studies and YNDC. Many student groups participated in the event, as part of a day of service to begin the fall semester. The next Wick Park workday will be announced soon.
