YNDC Receives $1.5M Grant for Housing Construction/Renovation - WFMJ

The Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation (YNDC) was awarded two grants, totaling more than $1.15 million from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh's Affordable Housing Program for housing development in the City of Youngstown.

PNC is the member bank supporting YNDC's application and partnering on both projects.

One grant award of $750,000 will be used to fully renovate five vacant homes for affordable homeownership and the second grant award of $409,032 will be used to construct two new energy-efficient affordable rental units.
