YNDC Volunteers for Direction Home of Eastern Ohio’s Pack The Valley

On Thursday, October 15, 2026, a team from YNDC volunteered to pack shelf-stable meals that will be distributed throughout the Mahoning Valley’s food banks and pantries for families in need.

This year, YNDC’s team packed vegetable soup packets. These meals will be distributed through Gleaners Foodbank, MYCAP, United Way, and Heart Reach Ministries.

In just five hours, Pack The Valley and all the volunteers created 176,886 meals. YNDC is proud to help fight hunger and support families in the region!
