On July 18, YNDC was awarded $50,000 in 6th Ward ARP Funds. The program will provide security lights to households with members 65 or older and businesses located in Qualified Census Tracts in the 6th Ward in order to prevent and solve crime following evidence-based Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) practices.
On Wednesday, July 10, more than 80 members of the Youngstown Housing Task Force, ACTION, YNDC, and other ally organizations boarded buses to visit the offices of Allstate Property Management, who is the property manager for Youngstown Houses LLC.
